Instructions - M40 Muscle Sense™

Model M40 is water-resistant - not waterproof. Do not submerge.

1. Charge

3. Apply

with Adhesive Electrodes

Prepare skin at target site

  • Clean, dry, and oil free
  • Shaving required only if body hair is thick

Load Electrodes

  • Take 2 fresh electrodes from foil envelope (included in kit)
  • Snap into M40. Remove backing.

Secure M40 on body

  • Place in-line with muscle to be measured
  • Press firmly to skin while contracting muscle

For best results

  • Do not re-use electrodes and avoid relocating. (every application weakens adhesive strength and signal quality)
  • Additional ECG snap electrodes can be purchased at most medical supply stores and anrcorp.com

with Non-Adhesive Electrodes

Load Electrodes

Secure M40 on body

  • Place in-line with muscle to be measured
  • Overwrap sensor with strong stretchable strap
    • at least 2 inch wide (3 preferred)
    • cinch style with hook&loop closure

For best results

    • Use on limbs
    • Use a wide strap (fully entrap M40)
    • Secure M40 tightly over muscle

4. Measure

Open ANR Muscle View App

Add Sensor (unless already added)

  • Select LED color pattern to identify sensor (option list below)
  • Set Name for muscle/location
  • Sensor configurations are remembered

Monitor and Log  Muscle Activation Level

  • Set display Zoom
  • Configure Biofeedback
  • Start Graph
  • Data collection runs in background
  • End session. Save Graph data.

(72 per minute, about a resting heartbeat)
Connected Slow Flashing
(1/3 flash rate)
