ANR has announced the release of a wireless muscle sensor (EMG sensor) with integrated Bluetooth® LE connectivity. The durable and reliable ANR model M40 Muscle Sense™ (patents pending) provides great sensitivity, stability, and precise coupling to the minute bioelectric signals that radiate from underlying activations at neuromuscular junctions beneath the skin.
The extremely high performance surface EMG (electromyography) measurement is made possible by ANR’s precision electronics with active signal guarding and proprietary signal processing algorithms that extract, differentiate, and identify neural signaling signatures. These new ANR muscle sensors seamlessly connect with: ANR model R24 Receivers (compact 4-channel analog output devices for machine control integration), Smartphone apps (free from ANR), or any programmable device (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) with Bluetooth® LE capability (see our Bluetooth Interface Guide for more detail).
The result is an idealized signal coupling to voluntary muscle contraction levels for robot control, neurological diagnostics, biofeedback and other applications.
